Thinking about next summer.

Thinking about next summer. If you have a festiavl or event you’d like us to play at please let us know.

Also looking for festivals and dates out in mainland Europe. Any ideas?

Thanks for all your ideas and suggestions so far, it’s starting to come together.

Been adding lots of new songs and surprises to the set in readiness for the season. We’re planning a few parties and local gigs to try some out. Watch this space.

Glastonbury 2011 was a blast!

Wandering Ska having a great summer, just got back from Wandering Glastonbury 2011.

Thanks to all of you that partied with us and big thanks to Steve from the band-Stand for inviting us to play.

Glastonbury was fantastic. Four days in the mud, every kind of mud, clogging boots, wheels and gear, were not enough to dampen spirits and a glorious sunny Sunday dried it all out.

We played plenty of sets in the market area, our regular backstage Acoustic, and a memorable three hour set up in the Rabbit Hole ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party! From the sublime to the surreal!

We’ll all miss it next year, but hopefully back the following.

Triumphant Hope Festival!

Wow what a crack. Hope festival was great all round this year, It’s settled into it’s new venue in Kent within the M25 and just hits the mark on every level. Tons of great bands, everything close by, lots of great familiar faces and all kinds of performances.

We got to headline it on the Saturday night this year and thanks to the great atmosphere that had been building over the course of the festival and some pure magic we absolutely stormed it. It was certainly one of those gigs that blurred the lines between performance and audience, just one big party all round.

Big thanks to the organisers for inviting us, it certainly was our pleasure to play it.
